Yamato is a gem! The location was super convenient for us as travelers. The place itself is spotless, decorated with a serene Japanese vibe, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s honestly one of the cleanest and most well-kept places we’ve stayed in. Kriselle, Jerome and the whole team went above and beyond to ensure we arrived safe, helped organize transportation when needed, and provided all the necessary information to make our stay seamless.

This hostel is really on our top list! Not only is it relatively affordable, but it also has an aesthetic that’s both minimalist and stunning. The design is efficient, sleek and well-thought-out, maximizing space without compromising on style. Every corner is thoughtfully arranged, making it a perfect blend of function and beauty - literally every area is instagrammable! The vibe gives you a sense of calm and comfort that makes you feel at home the moment you walk in. What truly stands out, though, is the welcoming and friendly staff. I rarely give excellent rating but this new hostel exceeds my expectation. The staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. Arrived at 4 am for an early check in and the process is a breeze. Secondly, the bed! I don't expect much in a capsule and sharing hostel, but oh boy! the bed is a piece of luxury. Minimalist environment, with all the basic amenities, hot shower, clean toilets and common area. The place is an oasis in the middle of the city, plus it is walking distance to all nearby restaurants and mall in Pasay. Would definitely stay here again when in Manila.

I was initially hesitant to book because there were no reviews yet, but I decided to go ahead and it turned out to be totally worth it. I booked a shared room but was upgraded for free, and even got a complimentary late checkout. I really enjoyed the ambiance—everything from the room to the bathroom, linens, and towels was impeccably clean. They also provided hand wash, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The room smelled amazing, and the staff were all very friendly. Plus, the internet connection was strong.
