By making a reservation at Yamato Hostel, you agree to be bound by these terms and any applicable policies.
I. Reservations & Payments
a. All remaining balances must be settled upon check-in.
b. Reservations are for you and your registered guests only. Booking more than four (4) rooms requires direct contact with the hostel.
c. Reselling or advertising reservations is strictly prohibited. Proper identification is required at check-in.
d. Yamato Hostel may cancel or modify reservations that breach these terms or appear fraudulent.
II. Cancellation Policy
a. Cancellations vary depending on room rates and availability.
b. Standard policy: cancellations made less than 24 hours before 6:00 PM on the scheduled arrival date, or no-shows, will incur a one-night cancellation charge.
III. Check-In/Check-Out
a. Check-in time is 2:00 PM. Check-out time is 12:00 NN.
b. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and will incur the following charges:

Deluxe Room – Php 600.00 per hour
Twin Suite Room – Php 1,200.00 per hour
Family Room – Php 1,330.00 per hour

c. Early check-in or late check-out exceeding four (4) hours will incur a charge equivalent to half of the current room rate:

IV. Identification Records
a. All guests and visitors must surrender passports or valid IDs for photocopying/recording upon check-in or arrival. This is done for identity verification, security, and regulatory compliance. Information is handled with strict confidentiality and protected from unauthorized access. Records are retained only for the legally required period and securely disposed of afterward.
b. Refusal to provide identification may result in denied entry or accommodation.
V. Valuables
Guests are encouraged to use in-room lockers or deposit boxes for valuables. Yamato Hostel is not liable for lost or stolen items caused by guest negligence.
VI. Shared Items in Common Areas
a. All shared items, including dinnerware, mugs, books, board games, card games, French press coffee makers, and glasses, shampoo and soap bottles, hair dryers, etc. must remain in the common areas.
b. Taking shared items to private rooms will result in a fee or restricted access to common areas.
VII. Alcohol Policy
a. Personal Consumption: Guests may bring their own alcohol for personal consumption. However, excessive drinking and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
b. Common Areas: Alcohol consumption is permitted only in designated common areas. Drinking is not allowed in dorm rooms or hallways.
c. Private Rooms: Guests staying in private rooms may consume alcohol responsibly within their room. However, any disruptive noise or behavior that affects other guests will be subject to staff intervention.
d. Noise and Behavior: Respect other guests. Drunken behavior that disrupts the comfort or safety of others may result in immediate eviction without refund.
e. Age Restriction: Alcohol consumption is strictly for guests aged 18 and above.
f. Staff Authority: Hostel staff reserves the right to confiscate alcohol or ask guests to stop drinking at any time if deemed necessary.
g. Prohibited Items: The use of hard liquor, excessive alcohol, or any items that promote binge drinking (e.g., beer pong) is strictly prohibited.VII. Prohibited Activities and Items
a. Smoking, including vapes, is prohibited in all guest areas. Violations incur a Php 5,000.00 fee per incident.
b. Prohibited items, such as drugs, combustible materials, and deadly weapons, are not allowed on the premises. Any drugs found or suspected drug use will be reported to the police immediately and will result in the immediate termination of the guest’s stay.
c. Cooking and ironing in rooms are strictly prohibited.
d. Pets are not allowed on the property.
VIII. Prohibited / Illegal Activities and Items
a. Illegal Activities: Engaging in any illegal activity is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:
i. Theft or vandalism of hostel property or the belongings of other guests
ii. Assault, harassment, or any form of violence
iii. Drug possession, distribution, or use of illegal substances
iv. Fraudulent activities or the use of counterfeit currency
v. Human trafficking or exploitation
vi. Unauthorized use of hostel Wi-Fi or internet for illegal purposes (e.g., hacking, piracy, or accessing illegal content)
Any involvement in illegal activities will result in immediate eviction from the hostel, with no refund. The authorities will be notified, and legal action will be taken where applicable. The guest will be held accountable for any damages or losses caused by their actions.

c. Prohibited items, such as drugs, combustible materials, and deadly weapons, are not allowed on the premises. Any drugs found or suspected drug use will be reported to the police immediately and will result in the immediate termination of the guest’s stay without refund.
d. Any behavior that disrupts the comfort or safety of other guests—whether caused by substance use or otherwise—will result in the guest’s immediate removal and forfeiture of any refund.
e. Cooking and ironing in rooms are strictly prohibited.

IX. Food & Beverages
Guests are discouraged from bringing cooked food, beverages, liquor, or items with strong odors (e.g., durian, dried seafood) into their rooms.
X. Parties and Gatherings
Parties or gatherings in guest rooms require prior management approval.
XI. Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are observed from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Guests are asked to refrain from causing disturbances during this time.
XII. Visitors
All visitors must be registered at the front desk upon entry. Visitors are permitted in common areas from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Entry into dormitories or private rooms is not allowed.
Exceptions: Visitors are allowed in Family Suites and Twin Suites under the following conditions:
a. Visitors are allowed to stay in the suite until 10:00 PM unless registered for an overnight stay.
b. Overnight visitors will incur an extra person charge as specified by Yamato Hostel's pricing policy.
XIII. Towels and Linens
Removable Stains (Typically No Charge if Removed):
Coffee/Tea, Wine, Makeup, Dirt/Mud or Food (non-greasy)
Irreparable Stains/Damage (Charge Replacement Fee):
These stains are typically impossible to remove without damaging the fabric:
Bleach, Hair dye or any type of dye, ink (permanent markers), nail polish, grease/oil stains or burns/wax

Hand towels – Php 500.00
Bath mats – Php 1,000.00
Towels – Php 2,000.00
Pillowcases – Php 800.00
Duvet cover, fitted sheet, or mattress protector – Php 2,500.00
Duvet – Php 7,000.00
Extra Towel & Blanket Requests:
For dorm guests, only one (1) extra towel or thick blanket is available for rental at Php 150.00 each.
Private room guests may exchange towels free of charge.
XIV. Additional Services and Fees
Transportation Services
Transport Network Vehicle Service (e.g., Grab, Angkas) booked and paid by the hostel will be charged to the guest.
Food Delivery Services
Food orders placed and paid by the hostel (e.g., Grab, Food Panda) will be charged to the guest, except for breakfast served by the hostel.
Printing Services
Printing of documents requested by guests will incur an additional charge
Extra Person Fee
Additional guests beyond room capacity: Php 850.00
Extra Slippers
Guests may request a pair of slippers for Php 15.00 each pair

Guests will be charged per article of clothing with the following rates:

A charge of Php 1,000.00 will be imposed for each lost keycard before issuing another one.
XV. Damages and Missing Items
Guests will be charged for any damages to the property or missing items caused by negligence, misuse, or intentional actions. Yamato Hostel is not liable for damages or losses resulting from natural causes, fire, floods, or other unforeseen events beyond our control.
XVI. Housekeeping
Rooms are cleaned daily. Dormitory rooms are serviced between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Guests are asked to secure their belongings and properly dispose of trash.
XVII. Disclaimers
Yamato Hostel strives for accuracy in all materials but does not guarantee the absence of errors or omissions. Use of facilities and services is at your own risk. The hostel disclaims liability for direct, indirect, or consequential damages.
Yamato Hostel is not liable for any injuries resulting from guest negligence, including but not limited to:
a. Injuries caused by jumping off bunk beds or improper use of hostel furniture and fixtures.
b. Slips, trips, or falls within the hostel premises due to failure to follow safety instructions or signage.
c. Injuries resulting from the misuse of hostel facilities or amenities (e.g., common areas, stairs, bathrooms).
d. Damage or loss of personal belongings due to guest carelessness or improper use of storage facilities.
e. Injuries caused by engaging in prohibited or reckless activities within hostel premises.
Please note that all top bunks are equipped with ladders and side rails to ensure guest safety, and we do not promote any unsafe behavior. Yamato Hostel also provides signage and safety instructions throughout the premises to help ensure a safe stay. Additionally, Yamato Hostel will not cover any medical bills, medication, or treatment costs for injuries sustained due to guest negligence or failure to follow safety protocols.
XVIII. Non-Compliance
Non-compliance with these terms may result in reservation cancellation, legal action, or reporting to law enforcement.
By staying at Yamato Hostel, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
Yamato Hostel reserves the right to amend these terms without prior notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Checkout Guidelines
1. Gather used towels on top of bed.
2. Dispose of trash in the provided bins.
3. Clean any used dinnerware.
4. Turn off all appliances and lights.
5. Ensure windows and doors are locked.
6. Return room keys to the reception.
7. Notify the front desk when ready to check out for a room inspection.
